This is what happens when two vehicles collide almost head-on …
Saturday night, my daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter were in this car …
Along with a large chunk of my heart …
Today this car is toast, but my heart is still complete … along with a few bandages, a lot of aches and soreness, some bruising, a hole in a knee, and one painfully smashed toe.
This is why we pay “outrageous” amounts for vehicles with multiple airbags and “safety” features, along with having to follow all matter of silly laws about our personal freedom … like that annoying seat-belt thing.
You know, all the government intrusion and inconvenience, forcing us to do things we would really rather not do … Today I am not complaining that we have been forced to drive safer cars … not at all
A little off my game from lack of sleep, but feeling extremely grateful in the Heartland ….
John
