It’s been a busy week already and it’s only Tuesday …
The weekend was full of preparations, errands, and meetings.
The work week has been fully packed, with more than the usual amount of issues, challenges, and opportunities.
When I lived on a farm, rain usually meant a break in the daily work grind, because so much of the work on a farm exists out in the open air and fields.
Sure, there was work to do inside on a rainy day, but the pace was different. Rain days were days for puttering and moving at a more relaxed pace, because the rain was always followed by more work.
Today is a rain day for me … I’ve completed several important tasks and now it’s time to breath …
Radio on, windows open, and mind relaxed … taking a rain day in the Heartland:)
